Imagination Park Technologies Inc (CSE:IP) (OTCMKTS:IPNFF) said it has partnered with minor league baseball team the Louisville Bats to help support local restaurant partners whose operations have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  The initiative, called "Buddy's Curbside Pick Up", offers the chance to win a variety of great Louisville Bats prizes by simply ordering curbside pickup from a participating restaurant and sharing a picture of your trip on social media with a special hashtag, the company said in a statement Wednesday. Imagination Park said its new patent-pending Augmented Reality (AR) technology -- which allows users to integrate the digital world into the real world within minutes, giving them branding, marketing and sales campaigns unlimited potential -- will be employed in the pick-up program. When fans place a carry-out order for any of the restaurants, they can use their mobile phones at the curbside pick-up location to enjoy the unique Bat's AR Model e-collectible and share the picture on social media with #CurbsideBuddy. Each fan who posts a Buddy Bat AR photo with #CurbsideBuddy on social media will be entered to win a variety of Louisville Bats prizes, including tickets, merchandise and VIP experiences. "With today's difficult landscape for sports team, and the restaurant industries, we wanted to create a dynamic and fun way for fans to engage with their favorite sports team. Our AR scavenger hunt is a nice compliment to the Bats' community efforts," said Neal Bendesky, VP Sports & Live Events at Imagination Park.  "The Louisville Bats are committed to helping our community and local restaurants in these challenging times," said Vic Gregovits, president of the Kentucky-based team, which is a Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. "We partnered with Imagination Park to offer a unique experience that gives fans the chance to win great prizes, and in turn, support our valuable local restaurant partners." Alen Paul Silverrstieen, CEO of Imagination Park, said the company is extending free offers to professional clubs, teams, mall businesses and restaurants who need help.  “Whether for coupons or promotions, anything our AR can help them - we are here to help. We are truly appreciative to have the opportunity to work with our client, Louisville Bats, to create the Curbside Pickup augmented reality program to support their local restaurant sponsors," Silverrstieen said.  Contact the author: patrick@proactiveinvestors.com Follow him on Twitter @PatrickMGraham
