Task force forms to develop rapidly deployable housing for patients

Pittsburgh companies Module, Blockhouse Residential and Springboard Design announced a collaborative initiative— the COVID-19 Modular Housing Task Force— created to address the space and housing challenges the pandemic presents, according to a news release.  The task force is currently working to develop a prototype for a rapidly deployable residential facility that could offer space to patients infected by Coronavirus when, as expected, hospitals face bed shortages.
