Boston pledges $5M in funds for rent relief, small business assistance

Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh on Thursday announced a $2 million small-business relief fund to assist companies directly impacted by revenue losses and closures due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as a $3 million fund to help tenants who have fallen behind on rent as a result of the crisis.
