The arts community has a huge economic impact in the Bluff City: $197 million in spending annually, according to ArtsMemphis. The coronavirus crisis is causing those in the field to miss out on a season's worth of money-producing opportunities. But, an effort is now underway to help those artists struggling during COVID-19. Through a partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis and the Assisi Foundation of Memphis, ArtsMemphis launched a $50,000 Artist Emergency Fund on April 1.…
