EnWave Corporation (CVE:ENW) signed a new agreement with an Eastern European fruit company to gauge the potential commercial use of its proprietary dehydration technology. The Vancouver-based company announced the technology and license option agreement on Monday that will see the two companies evaluate EnWave’s Radiant Energy Vacuum’s (REV) capacity to produce premium dehydrated fruits and vegetable products. If successful, the trial could lead to REV being deployed in several countries throughout Europe, according to EnWave, which called it a “promising opportunity” to leverage the technology. BioLargo Inc (OTCQB:BLGO) announced Thursday that Clyraguard, a spray developed by subsidiary Clyra Medical Technologies, was shown to cause complete inactivation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in lab testing. Clyraguard is a personal protective spray designed to help frontline healthcare workers prevent cross-contamination of their personal protective equipment from SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The product is colorless and odorless and has been found to be non-toxic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing and non-staining. Pressure BioSciences Inc (OTCQB:PBIO), which is merging with Cannaworx Inc and SkinScience Labs Inc to become Availa Bio, announced that Cannaworx is expanding its sales and distribution network by signing a letter of intent to acquire Louisiana-based Five Leaf Labs (FLL). The company said the expansion comes at a “critical time” for Cannaworx as it is gearing up for the market launch of its first two products over the coming few weeks. In a statement, Five Leaf Labs founder and president Keyon Janani said the company’s hemp-derived, CBD products are made exclusively from organic, pesticide-free hemp. PyroGenesis Canada Inc (CVE:PYR) (OTCQB:PYRNF) announced Tuesday it has entered into the final stages of negotiations over an equipment-supply contract with a major iron ore pelletization client. The company said the client is a multi-billion-dollar international producer of the pellets and one of the largest in the industry whose name remains confidential for competitive reasons. The client has over 10 plants each requiring about 50 plasma torches to replace existing fossil fuel burners.  VolitionRx Limited (NYSEAMERICAN:VNRX) announced a new funding round to support the epigenetics company’s continued product development and clinical studies. The Austin-based company said that it is offering shares of the company in an underwritten public offering led by National Securities Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of National Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:NHLD). All shares are being offered by Volition, with no firm details yet as to the offering’s size or terms, the company said Tuesday. A portion of the funds raised will also be used for potential strategic acquisitions. CleanSpark Inc (NASDAQ:CLSK) announced Tuesday that it won additional US patent protection for its proprietary energy microgrid distribution system. The Utah-based company makes software that allows an energy microgrid to be scaled to the user's specific needs and implemented across commercial, industrial, military, and agricultural sectors. "Today's patent specifically protects our proprietary system and method for distributing energy between microgrids,” said CEO Zachary Bradford in a statement. “It particularly addresses the challenge of determining when it is appropriate for one microgrid to share power with another microgrid.
