Euro Manganese lnc (ASX:EMN) has been granted two consecutive trading halts by the ASX due to a proposed capital raising by way of an institutional placement. The back-to-back trading halt will be in place until the beginning of trade on Monday, July 6, or when an announcement is released to the market, whichever occurs earliest. In its request to the ASX, the company said: "EMN requests the two consecutive trading halts to consider, plan for and execute the placement in an orderly fashion." Czech project milestone EMN is set to pass a key milestone with an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Notification to be filed for its Chvaletice Manganese Project in the Czech Republic. The EIA notification will be filed with the Czech Ministry of Environment on June 30, 2020, and this triggers the project permitting process. Studies confirm that Chvaletice is not expected to cause any significant adverse impacts to the environment or to human health with the project designed to meet all Czech and European Union environmental, health and safety standards.
