Face masks mandatory in Miami-Dade, Broward counties as virus cases continue to rise

Leaders in Miami-Dade and Broward counties issued emergency orders requiring people to wear face masks in all public spaces as local Covid-19 cases and fatalities rise. Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Giménez said residents and visitors must wear facial coverings in all indoor and outdoor public spaces countywide in an effort to slow community spread of the virus.
