Orlando among top U.S. cities for solar energy

Orlando is among the top solar energy cities in the U.S., according to a recent report from the Environment America Research & Policy Center, a national network of state environmental groups. That earned the City Beautiful the distinction of a “solar leader,” meaning it has between 25 to 50 watts of solar photovoltaics (PV), the conversion of light into electricity, installed per person.
