Lucas recommends appointment of New Jersey city manager for the job in Kansas City

Mayor Quinton Lucas on Wednesday recommended a New Jersey city manager to take over that role in Kansas City.  Brian Platt is city manager of Jersey City, according to a news release from the mayor’s office.
