How Brookfield Properties' malls plan to deal with holiday foot traffic amid pandemic restrictions

Five Houston-area malls are implementing a high-tech solution to prevent long lines outside of popular retailers amid Covid-19 restrictions during the holiday season. Brookfield Properties began rolling out the "Spot Holder" platform from San Francisco-based tech firm Waitwhile to its shopping centers in late October.
