Employees at Amazon's new fulfillment center in Bessemer could soon vote on whether to unionize. Paperwork was filed with the National Labor Relations Board for a union vote at the facility, which employs approximately 1,500. The filing was first reported by the Washington Post. If successful, employees at the facility would be represented by the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union.
