Exro Technologies Inc (CVE:EXRO) (OTCMKTS:EXROF) (FRA:1O2) is poised to deploy its motor control technology to enhance a suite of electric buses.  The group has signed a supply agreement with Vicinity Motor Corp (VMC) -  a leading supplier of vehicles for public and commercial use with operations in Canada and the US. Exro will supply its Coil Drive System technology, while Vicinity will validate the technology through deploying an optimized electric powertrain for its suite of electric buses.  READ: Exro Technologies spurs innovation with its Coil Driver and has a strong product roadmap "We are constantly searching for innovative new ways to provide a best-in-class experience for our customers, delivering leading-edge technology at a price point suitable for mass deployment across small and large fleets," said William Trainer, the founder and CEO of Vicinity Motor Corp. "Testing of the Coil Drive System, which offers lower energy consumption and high performance relative to existing systems, could prove to be an exciting competitive advantage and further extend the range of our electric buses," he added. Exro's system expands the capabilities of powertrains by enabling two separate torque profiles within a given motor. A controller automatically selects the appropriate configuration in real-time so that power and efficiency are optimized. "This commercial partnership highlights our dedication to bring the Coil Driver to emerging electric mobility markets and provide our partners with a clear edge over the competition," said Sue Ozdemir, the CEO at Exro.
