Cauldron Energy Ltd (ASX:CXU) (OTCMKTS:CAULF) has reached an agreement with Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation (BTAC) to lease an industrial block adjacent to Onslow’s Agility Port at 697 Cornish Way, Onslow. A mobile concrete batching plant resides on this site, which is owned by a majority owned BTAC subsidiary.  This plant has not been in operation for several years. Anticipated construction and mining boom Cauldron is planning to lease the concrete batching plant directly from the BTAC subsidiary and re-commission the plant to supply concrete into the local community and potentially into a number of upcoming projects in an anticipated construction and mining boom in this region of Western Australia. Cauldron CEO, Jess Oram said: “Having been active in the region since 2005 and developed many trusted relationships, we see this partnership as the start of a mutually beneficial and strategic presence in Onslow. “And one which could springboard Cauldron into other opportunities in this promising region which is growing at a sensible and managed rate guided by BTAC and the Shire of Ashburton.” River sand projects Cauldron is targeting estuarine sand in three of Western Australia’s largest river systems to address the global sand market that is projected to be moving towards deficiency. The company has already identified the steps for a low carbon footprint during exploration and any production at scarce river sand commodity projects in line with its commitment to achieve the target of net-zero carbon emissions.
