Amazon to provide employees paid tuition, skills training in bid to fill front-line positions

Amazon.com Inc. announced last week it would offer upfront college tuition for operations employees as part of an expansion the company's 2-year-old Upskilling 2025 program to train 100,000 U.S. workers by 2025 to help them transition into in-demand, higher-paying jobs.
