The Belk Bowl is about more than just college football this year for its Charlotte-based title sponsor. As Wake Forest and Texas A&M took the field Friday at Bank of America Stadium in uptown Charlotte, Belk announced a new, community-driven initiative that will result in the department store retailer giving at least $15 million over five years for revitalizing neighborhoods across its 16-state footprint.
