Weeks after he admitted saying a racial slur...
*Morgan Wallen's* 'Dangerous: The Double Album' has just claimed its seventh consecutive week at the top of the Billboard chart.
The country singer opened the year in hot water, with *the revelation that he had said a racial slur*.
Apologising for his actions, Morgan Wallen's music was dropped by a number of key country music radio stations across North America.
His label Big Loud dropped the artist when video footage emerged, but this doesn't seem to have dented his career.
'Dangerous: The Double Album' has just notched up seven consecutive weeks *at No. 1 on the Billboard chart* - the only country album to come close is the six weeks at number one achieved by Garth Brooks’ ‘The Chase’ in 1992.
The last album of any genre to spend seven weeks at No. 1 was Drake's 2016 album 'Views'.
