The full nominations for *Hyundai Mercury Prize* have been announced.

This year's ceremony takes place on September 9th, with Michael Kiwanuka having scooped last year's trophy for his excellent 'KIWANUKA' full length.

As ever, the judging panel features a mix of industry experts and artists, with songwriter Hazel Wilde from last year's nominees Lanterns On The Lake amongst those taking part.

Discussing the shortlist, she labels it "powerful, refreshing, and diverse..."

Judges have deliberated, and the following shortlist for the trophy has been revealed:
