'Deeply saddened': Pope Francis on Hagia Sophia reverting to mosque

The pope said he feels ‘deeply saddened’ by the decision of Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to change the status of the iconic Hagia Sophia, which was originally built in Istanbul as a Christian cathedral from that of a museum to a mosque.
