Report: Revenue Dips As Brexit Affects .eu In 2018Registrations sunk in 2018 for .eu, largely because of Brexit, which affected its revenue and profit, Domain Incite reported. Registry EURid said Monday it managed 3,684,750 .eu domains at the end of 2018, down 130,305 for the year, the lowest end-of-year domain count since 2012, the report said. Despite voting to leave the EU in 2016, the UK has yet to follow through, Domain Incite reported. The UK has sunk from the fourth-largest .eu country to the sixth, now behind both Poland and Italy. If Brexit ever does take effect, the report said, both the EURid and UK government have warned UK-based registrants they stand to lose their domains.
