Trump Signs Executive Order To Sanction Countries That Meddle in US ElectionsPresident Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday which aims to discourage foreign countries or officials from meddling with United States elections, according to NBC News. Two top national security officials detailed the order, which would establish a process for the nation's intelligence agencies to assess whether foreigners are taking steps to interfere with U.S. elections. That could range from spreading propaganda online on social media sites or infiltrating campaign infrastructure or hacking attempts. The Justice and Homeland Security Departments will then review the intelligence reports and the Treasury and State Department would have the authority to suggest sanctions to...
