French investigators set to examine black box data from Ethiopia crash
Friday, 15 March 2019 French investigators on Friday will begin analyzing data from the black boxes of the Boeing 737 Max plane that crashed after takeoff from Addis Ababa killing 157 people, the second such calamity involving the aircraft since October.
In what could be seen as a snub to the US, Ethiopia sent the black boxes from the crashed Ethiopian Airlines plane to France.
An official from BEA, the French air accident authority, said the flight data recorder and the cockpit vote recorder had arrived in France for analysis.
