Monday, 22 April 2019 The House Judiciary Committee served former White House counsel Don McGahn with a subpoena on Monday as part of its ongoing investigation into obstruction of justice from President Donald Trump, according to NBC News. The Democratic-led panel authorized subpoenas earlier this month for McGahn and four other White House officials but waited until Monday to issue the subpoena to McGahn, seeking testimony and documents from the former White House counsel. The subpoena asks Trump's former lawyer to testify before the committee on May 21 and provide documents by May 7 on a number of topics.
