White House Will Fight Subpoena Of Former Counsel Don McGahnThe White House could try to prevent former White House Counsel Don McGahn from complying with a House Judiciary Committee subpoena which demanded he cooperate with the Democrats probe into potential obstruction of justice by President Donald Trump on Tuesday, according to CNN. One source said the White House could argue executive privilege over aspects if McGahn does testify, but said discussions are still preliminary so all measures were still being considered. Other sources said the House Judiciary Committee has already had talks with McGahn's attorney William Burck.
