Trump Invokes Executive Privilege Claim Over Mueller DocumentsU.S. President Donald Trump will invoke executive privilege concerning special counsel Robert Mueller’s unredacted report as well as other documents subpoenaed by the House Judiciary Committee, The Associated Press reported Wednesday. By using executive privilege, Trump will be allowed to withhold those materials from Congress, the report said. The House Judiciary Committee led by Democratic Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) is scheduled to meet later Wednesday morning to decide whether to vote to hold Attorney General William Barr in contempt for failing to turn over the full report and certain other critical and related materials, the AP reported.
