Mississippi ICE Raids Separate Mom From Her Breastfeeding Baby For More Than 12 DaysOne mother of three who was detained while working at a Mississippi poultry processing plant by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers earlier this month has been held away from her nursing 4-month-old daughter, according to The Huffington Post. The Clarion-Ledger said Maria Domingo-Garcia has been separated from her breastfeeding daughter since she was picked up during the ICE raids at Koch Foods in Morton, Mississippi. She was among the 680 undocumented immigrants detained earlier this month, the largest raid in the agency's history, spanning several food processing plants across Mississippi.
