House Democrats release report outlining case for Trump's impeachment
Tuesday, 3 December 2019 () U.S. House Democrats leading the impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump on Tuesday released a report detailing their case against the Republican president, saying he used "the powers of his office to solicit foreign interference on his behalf in the 2020 election."
Trump solicited foreign interference to boost his chances of re-election next year, undermined national security and ordered an “unprecedented” campaign to obstruct Congress, Democrats said in a report that will form the basis of any formal impeachment charges against Trump. Jonah Green reports.
