Asian shares ride Wall Street surge as investors pin hopes on U.S. stimulus
Wednesday, 25 March 2020 () Asian shares gained on Wednesday in the wake of Wall Street's massive rebound as U.S. senators and Trump administration officials reached an agreement on a giant economic stimulus bill to alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
Wall Street was on track for its first back-to-back daily gains since February as investors optimistically waited for movement on the Senate's $2 trillion economic stimulus package to battle damage caused by the coronavirus. Conway G. Gittens has the details.
