Nobel Prize in chemistry awarded to female researchers for 'genetic scissors'

Chemical scientists Emmanuelle Charpentier and Jennifer A. Doudna have been awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry for their research into genome editing, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced.
