Scrambling for aircraft in N.S. mass shooting, RCMP told to 'pound sand': official

Information obtained by The Canadian Press shows a lack of procedural understanding in RCMP's communication with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre requesting the assistance of a military aircraft to search for gunman who killed 22 people in April 2020.
