Syrian President Bashar al-Assad returns to the Arab League

The Arab League welcomed back Syria's embattled President Bashar al-Assad at the organization's summit in Saudi Arabia. It's been more than a decade since Assad attended a summit after being shut out for his role in Syria's ongoing civil war.
