Jeff Sessions Claims He Didn't Lie About Trump Campaign and Russia ContactAttorney General Jeff Sessions testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday where he said he "never lied" though he previously claimed that he was not aware of any contact between members of President Donald Trump's campaign team and Russia in previous hearings, according to Business Insider. Sessions testified for the first time since newly unsealed court documents from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation showed that Sessions was aware of a campaign adviser's attempts to set up a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
