Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter has life of 7 years, 95% of mission accomplished: Isro

In its latest statement, Isro said, Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter was designed mission life for 7 years. The Orbiter's eight payloads will conduct remote-sensing observations from a 100 km orbit. "90-95% of the mission objectives have been accomplished and will continue to contribute to Lunar science, notwithstanding the loss of communication with the Lander," Isro said.
