Rate of crime against women highest in Assam in 2017: NCRB

Besides sedition and waging war against the country categories, Assam also has recorded the highest rate of total crimes against women in the country in 2017, which is more than double the national rate, according to National Crime Records Bureau’s latest data for 2017 published on Monday.
