NPR faces fresh hurdle, Odisha and Bihar against seeking parents’ information

After rejecting any NPR in Bihar, CM Nitish Kumar asked the Centre to remove the new questions related to the date and place of birth of parents in the NPR updation form as “they would create unnecessary confusion”. In Odisha, the Naveen Patnaik government said it has decided against asking these questions.
