Omar Abdullah detention: SC issues notice to J&K admin, seeks reply by March 2

The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notice to the Jammu and Kashmir administration on the detention of National Conference leader Omar Abdullah and asked it to file a reply by March 2. The apex court was hearing a plea by Abdullah's sister Sarah Abdullah Pilot against the detention of the former chief minister under the Public Safety Act (PSA), 1978.
