India's Covid-19 count reach 1,73,763 with 7,964 new cases; 265 deaths in last 24 hours
Saturday, 30 May 2020 With the highest ever spike of 7,964 coronavirus positive cases in the last 24 hours, India's total count of COVID-19 cases has reached 1,73,763, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Saturday.
Governor Sisolak says when it comes to positive cases, Nevada has been on a downward trend for the last month. Over the past 2 weeks, there have been 43 new deaths, which is down from 96 deaths from the previous two weeks.
India on August 08 reported a spike of 61,537 coronavirus cases, and 933 deaths in the last 24 hours. Confirmed infections have gone up to 20,88,612 which includes 6,19,088 active cases. The death toll has risen to 42,518. Meanwhile, 14,27,005 people have beaten the invisible virus in the country, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Indian Council of Medical Research said the country tested 5,98,778 samples for coronavirus on August 07. 2,33,87,171 samples have been tested as on August 07.
The Union Health Ministry on August 04 briefed the media in Delhi, over the current COVID-19 situation in nation. Speaking in press conference, Ministry of Health, Secretary, Rajesh Bhushan stated that more than 6.6 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted in last 24 hours in the nation. Adding on it, he said recovered cases are now double of the active cases in India. He said, "More than 2 crore COVID-19 tests have been conducted, including more than 6.6 lakh tests in the last 24 hours. Recovered cases are now double of the active cases. The case fatality rate is lowest since the first lockdown."
