HC ex-judge to probe Vikas Dubey ‘encounter’

A day after setting up an SIT to probe slain gangster Vikas Dubey’s alleged nexus with politicians and bureaucrats, the UP government on Sunday instituted a judicial inquiry by a retired high court judge into the July 10 “encounter” in which he was killed while being brought to Kanpur from Ujjain in a police convoy.
