SC adjourns plea against Rajasthan HC's order refusing to stay merger of BSP MLAs, Congress

The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned to Aug 24 hearing on a petition filed by a BJP leader challenging the Rajasthan High Court order refusing to stay the merger of six BSP MLAs in the state with the Congress party. The bench adjourned the matter for Aug 24 after petitioners requested the court to take up the matter next week since the Rajasthan HC is closed for three days.
