Fall in testing pushes up daily positivity rate too

Even as the daily Covid-19 positivity rate rose to 11.8% on Sunday mainly due to drop in testing, 76% of the new 86,961 confirmed cases were reported from 10 states, health ministry said. Daily tests fell to 7,31,534 samples on Sunday after a record 12,06,806 tests on Saturday. So far, India has tested a total of 6 crore 43 lakh samples for Covid-19.
