Bihar assembly polls: Tejashwi to lead alliance; RJD to contest 144 seats, Congress gets 70

Bihar's opposition on Saturday announced that RJD's Tejashwi Yadav will lead the grand alliance and the state also in the upcoming assembly elections. Announcing the seat sharing arrangement, Tejashwi said the RJD will contest on 144 seats while Congress will contest 70 seats in Bihar. The CPM will fight on 4 seats, while the CPI will contest on 6 seats and CPIM-L on 19.
