In a first, China ministry official to attend military talks today

There are no expectations of a breakthrough in actual troop de-escalation in eastern Ladakh during the seventh round of top-level military talks with China on Monday, which is also likely to see diplomatic representation from Beijing for the first time. India will be represented by Lt-Generals Harinder Singh and PGK Menon as well as Naveen Srivastava, among others, in the seventh round of talks to be held on the Indian side of the Chushul-Moldo border personnel meeting point.
