Pakistan has invited Indian Sikhs to attend the 551st birth anniversary celebrations of Sikh faith's founder, Guru Nanak Dev, an official said on Monday.

Owaisi hits back at Telangana BJP Prez over latter's 'surgical strike in old Hyderabad' remark

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on November 24 hit back at Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Bandi Sanjay on his remark, saying, "We will do a surgical strike in Old City once we win the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Owaisi said, "BJP leader said that if they win elections (GHMC) then they'll do surgical strike in the Old City to remove Pakistanis, Rohingyas from there. All those living here are citizens of India. I give you 24 hours to tell how many Pakistanis live here?" Earlier, Telangana BJP Pres said, "TRS and AIMIM trying to win GHMC polls with Rohingyas, Pakistani and Afghanistani voters. GHMC polls should be conducted without voters from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Rohingyas. We will do a surgical strike in Old City once we win the polls."

BSF troops conducted Flag Meeting with Pak Rangers to handover body of a Pakistani national. Meeting was held near BP No.64. Pakistan national was killed on Nov 23 near BS fence. 11 troops of BSF and 15 troops of Pak Rangers participated in Flag Meeting. During flag meeting BSF troops asked Pak Rangers to identify the dead body and to provide documents in support. After receipt of documents pertaining to identification of killed Pak National, the dead body was handed over to Pak Rangers on proper receipt and with full honour.

'Shameful': DSGMC condemns Pak's move to give control of Kartarpur Gurdwara to non-Sikh body

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) condemned Pakistan's move to hand over Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur's management to a non-Sikh body. DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, "It's unfortunate that Pakistan cabinet has handed over Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur's management to an ISI organisation ETPB from Pakistan Gurdwara Committee, which is a Sikh organisation. A non-Sikh body will control historic Gurdwara. This is very shameful act. Pakistan has been doing such heinous attacks continuously but we will not tolerate this act at all. We'll ask Foreign Ministry today to take up this matter as soon as possible. DSGMC and SAD condemn this act." Pakistan government took away rights of management of Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur from Pakistan Gurdwara Committee and handed it over to Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).

Hardeep Singh Puri condemns Pak's decision of transferring Kartarpur Gurdwara management to non-Sikh body

Union Civil Aviation (Independent Charge) Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reacted on reports about Pakistan transferring management and maintenance of Gurudwara Kartarpur to non-Sikh body. He said that if Pakistan government has done it then it should be condemned in strongest possible way. He said, "As representatives of Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, there have been removed and members of ISI have been put." Earlier in the day, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee delegation led by President Manjinder Singh Sirsa MEA Joint Secretary (PAI) met JP Singh over the issue. Pakistan government took away the rights of management of Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur from Pakistan Gurdwara Committee and handed it over to Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB). Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib is a historical and sacred place for Sikh community where Guru Nanak Dev ji breathed his last.
