Lodge protest against French President, Darul Uloom tells Centre

Islamic seminary Darul Uloom, Deoband on Thursday appealed to the Central government to condemn France and press for an international law against blasphemy. The seminary’s statement comes against the backdrop of India’s unequivocal support to French president Emmanuel Macron whose comment that “France will not give up on cartoons” has now riled a section of Islamic world.
