48.62% turnout in second phase of DDC polls in Jammu and Kashmir

The second phase of polling in the District Development Council (DDC) elections in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday passed off peacefuly and saw 48.62 percent turnout. While the Jammu region witnessed 65.54 percent voting, the Kashmir valley recorded an average of 33.34 percent turnout
