Man who lost leg in crash gets 52 lakh, including 1 lakh for leave loss

Awarding a total compensation of around Rs 52 lakh to a 41-year-old senior business analyst from Chembur who lost his right foot after his long-distance luxury bus collided with a stationary tempo while he was on his way to Bangalore in 2012, the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal factored Rs 1.1 lakh towards loss of leave, which could have been used for other purposes.
