Besieged at home by the Covid-19 pandemic, India is boldly seeking to rise above it and restore its foreign policy mojo with an expansive global engagement, teeing off with external affairs minister S Jaishankar meeting United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York on Tuesday before arriving in the US capital where he will meet top officials of the Biden administration.
