Covid-19: India records over 1 lakh new cases, lowest in 61 days

India reported a daily rise of 1,00,636 new cases of Covid-19 and 2,427 fatalities in the past 24 hours, the Union health ministry said on Monday. ​​​At 1,74,399, the number of recoveries continued to outnumber the daily new cases for the 25th consecutive day. Total recoveries reported across the country rose to 2,71,59,180.
