India registers 41,806 new Covid cases and 581 deaths; recovery rate rises to 97.28%

As many as 41,806 new cases of Covid-19 and 581 deaths have been registered in India in the last 24 hours, a health bulletin released by the Union health ministry stated on Thursday. The case tally has been pushed to 3,09,87,880 and the death toll stands at 4,11,989 at present. India's active caseload stands at 4,32,041.
