Bhopal: Rising prices may take the spark out of Diwali shopping, traders worried

For people ready to come out of the Covid shadow quickly, high inflation has come as a blow in the festival season. The high prices are most likely to dampen the Diwali spirits, this year too. Traders say prices can't be controlled unless and until the price of petrol and diesel is curbed, but exactly the opposite is happening particularly in the month of October when fuel prices have risen multiple times.
