India reports 6,317 new Covid-19 infections, 214 Omicron cases so far

India on Wednesday reported 6,317 fresh Covid-19 cases and 318 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the data by the ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW). Besides, 214 cases of Omicron variant of coronavirus have been reported in the country so far, the health ministry said.
